We had a very hot first few months of the year but now we are in the rainy season. Occassional heavy rain otherwise mostly light showers throughout the day with cool temperatures.

July - Halal Food, Hilal Town Festival Thalang

A celebration of Phuket's Muslim community, the Halal Food. Hilal Town festival takes place near Kokchanasuk in Thalang. Highlights include a display of products from all over southern Thailand, a history show by university students, a fashion show, a Quran reading contest, bird singing competitions, and many more activities.

July 2nd to 11th - Tasar World Championship Cape Panwa

Over 60 Tasar dinghys make their way to Phuket for this year's event. Held every two years, the World Championship attracts crews of every age from all over the globe. With six days of racing, and up to three races each day, the action is sure to be intense.
